Trullo Tesoro is located in the Itria Valley, near Cisternino. This valley is sometimes called the valley of the trulli because of the thousands typical stone houses with cone shaped roofs. The region is full of beautiful olive gardens and fruit orchards. Tesoro is located on grounds of 800 square metres with fruit trees. The trullo is simply decorated and there is a large terrace with garden furniture and a hammock. Solar panels provide the hot water supply. There is a wood oven in the garden for baking bread or pizzas. Fun excursions in this fabulous region are for example Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Otranto, Castellana Grotte, Castel del Monte, Grottaglie, Ostuni and Gallipoli. The nearest beach is only a 15 minutes' drive away. There are surfing, kite surfing and sailing facilities.
