Property Description

This nice holiday home was a former farmhouse which was divided into three tiny apartments, each with its own little kitchen with fire place and two bedrooms. The farmhouse, or 'Monte' was reconstructed in the original style, with authentic floors and walls. The three apartments were put toghether to create space for 2 new bathrooms and an open kitchen/dining area, and a small living room with fire place. Alltogether the house has 6 bedrooms, however due to the size of the beds, the house is only suitable for a maximum of 8 persons, including 2 sleeping in the bunk bed. The kitchen is very rustic, the living room is simple furnished. The holiday home is an original country house which has basic interior provisions, but a fantastic exterior, as for example the beautiful and well taken care of garden, a big swimming pool, a private tennis court, a splendid view over the village and the castle of Estremoz. It's located in absolute silence and in the middle of the vineyard, where the grapes ripe to make the red wines 'Encosta de Estremoz' and 'Dona Joana'. Estremoz is an ideal starting point to explore the Alentejo.
