There are numerous caves on the east side which can be visited by boat. The area is superb for walking, swimming and snorkelling. You can visit the baroque town of Lecce with its historic castles, palazzos, villas and churches. The palm lined boulevard is pleasantly busy in summer as are the many bars and restaurants. The Bellavista House Apartment is a stones throw from the coast and the town centre. The furnishing is simple. There is a terrace at the front of the house where you can relax and admire the beautiful surrounding area.
