Around the villa there are various sunny and shadowy terraces where you can relax with friends. From the terraces with seating, lounge chairs and BBQ, you have a breathtaking view of the green hills. The unique thing about this villa is the spectacularly designed black tiled swimming pool with a salt water system, surrounded by two directly bordering ponds. You can take a cooling dip here, and relax with the frogs and fish around you. For a fee, the pool can be heated to 23C. Ask 3 days ahead (250.00 per week). Even if the temperature drops, this residence is perfect with its under floor heating. You can also warm up in front of the open fireplace. Within 10 minutes walking from the villa you will find the centre of the idyllic village of Caldas de Monchique which is known for its healing spring water and spa. For a nice outing, go to the centre of Monchique (6 km) with its various shops and restaurants. The sandy beaches in the south of the Algarve are about a 20 minute drive away. For the golf lovers, the nearest golf course is only 10 minutes away in the car.
