The village, which is officially recognised as an air health resort, lies on a healthy height of 850 meter and offers in the near vicinity a variety of forests, meadows and swamps. In the summer time the area is excellent for making beautiful walking trips through the untouched Black Forest or a relaxing holiday in a peaceful surroundings. A bit above this village at a peaceful location a little modern apartment complex lies 980 m. above sea level. It accommodates a comfortable decorated house on the 1st floor. From the balcony with garden furniture you have a marvellous view over the forests. Terrace and communal garden.
