The holiday house Luise (around 100 m2) is on the edge of the forest with a peaceful southern location. This unit is on the ground floor in the same house where the owner lives. Marienroth, the town where this holiday house is located, is 600 m - 750 m high in the Frankenwald nature park. The town has superb location. The natural landscape is alternating, and thus it is possible to go hiking in both the mountains and the valleys. Frankenwald is a particularly good destination for hikers and cyclists, as a number of hiking paths start at the holiday house. Internationally famed routes such as the "Bier-and Burgenstraße" and the "Rennsteig" are highly recommended! In Rothenkirchen there is a heated outdoor swimming pool in the middle of the woods. Medieval castles such as the Rosenberg Castle and the Lauenstein Castle (both around 15 km away) are definitely some of the areas highlights. In the winter you can also go skiing and cross-country skiing in the Frankenwald. There are ski lifts you can use in Tettau and Ludwigsstadt (around 20 km away). Enjoy a great holiday in the Frankenwald, whatever the season may be!
