This detached holiday house with Jacuzzi lies near the village Parlan, 13 km. north of the charming place Maurs la Joli and 30 km. south of the capital of the Cantal, Aurillac. In the middle of the area the Châtaigneraie ( the chestnut forest). The holiday house is a former characteristic farm house from 1830, which has been entirely and tastefully restored in 2005 and 2006, preserving the original architecture and adding present luxury. The house owes its name to the cow herder Hypolyte, who had his home here after months of travelling with his herd through the Vulcan area in order to make the Cantal cheese in various tastes. After Hypolyte passed away, the farm house became connected to the Ferme de Jaullac and the house was made into a storage barn for hay for the horses and cows, but also an ideal spot for the youngest daughter of the owner of Ferme de Jaullac to meditate. This holiday house is built against a hill, has three storeys and contains a terrace of 25 m where you can nicely sit in the sun and with a splendid view at the landscape. The terrace has terrace furniture, parasol and an electric grill/plancha. Around the house you have access to a well kept garden and an endless piece of land, ideal for children to play around and discover the nature. Besides that the holiday house also has a recreation room with Jacuzzi with an enormous window, which provides with an gigantic view at the green hilly environment, a sauna and massage shower. Specifics: Le Domaine d'Hypolite lies at walking distance (approx. 800m.) from the Ferme de Jaullac, where also 2 holiday houses are situated with a swimming pool (15 x 6 m.) which you may use free of charge.
