The gite is a perfect base for exploring the many attractions of the Charente and the Périgord. Visit the archeological site of Coue d'Auzenat, and also the ruines of Montguyo! Or follow one of the many pilgrimage routes through the numerous traditional farms, bread ovens, water wells and Romanesque churches, such as that at Ribérac. Don't forget to visit one of the lovely castles and lively Angoulême.
